The homeowners wanted to create a clearer division between their living and dining areas without losing the light, openness or connection between the two rooms. Their preferred look was Crittall-inspired, with slim black frames and generous areas of glazing forming a strong architectural feature within the home.

A bespoke Origin OI-30 Internal French Door in the Soho style provided the ideal solution. Made to measure for the opening, the installation combines a central pair of French doors with coordinating glazed panels on either side. This creates an impressive wall of glass while allowing the rooms to be separated whenever needed.

The premium black aluminium construction and slim sightlines give the doors a clean, contemporary appearance. Black Signature Collection knurled handles add a tactile finishing detail that sits naturally alongside the understated frame. Despite its substantial appearance, the system has been designed to offer smooth and reliable everyday operation.

Kevin and Andy completed the installation smoothly in one day, with no issues encountered. The finished divider defines the two spaces beautifully while allowing natural light and views to continue through the ground floor. It provides the practical flexibility the homeowners wanted, together with a striking new feature that feels completely integrated with the interior.
