The Worster property had a number of older windows and doors that were beginning to feel dated and inefficient. The existing conservatory also needed attention, with the aim of creating a more comfortable space that could be enjoyed more consistently throughout the changing seasons.
Rather than treating each element separately, the project provided an opportunity to make a coordinated improvement across the home. Liniar casement windows were installed to replace the ageing units, giving the exterior a cleaner and more consistent appearance while improving thermal performance, security and everyday operation.
At the rear of the property, the conservatory was upgraded with a modern warm-roof system. The new roof provides better insulation than the previous arrangement, helping the room retain warmth more effectively while reducing the temperature extremes commonly associated with older conservatories. Glazing within the gable preserves the bright, open feeling of the original space, while the white frames and French doors connect it naturally with the garden.
An Endurance composite front door completed the transformation. Its soft, understated finish complements the existing brickwork, while the glazed panel and coordinating side panels bring natural light into the entrance. Beneath its traditional appearance, the door provides the modern strength, insulation and security the homeowners needed.
Together, the new windows, front door and conservatory roof have given the property a comprehensive update. The house retains its familiar character, but now feels smarter, more comfortable and better equipped for everyday family life.
